
Kings Transport Ltd was entrusted with the relocation of a prestigious hotel, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Park Lane, Central London. The project involved the meticulous transportation of high-value furnishings, artwork, and operational equipment to a new location, ensuring minimal disruption to the hotel’s operations.
Client requirements
- To securely store and manage itinerary of all furniture and soft furnishing including beds, wardrobes, side cabinets, lighting, soft furnishings and carpets
- To co-ordinate appropriate insurances, parking, access and security permits
- To move and install all furniture and soft furnishings where appropriate for over 180 rooms, across 9 floors
- Complete to an unfixed schedule to minimise disruption to guests, traffic and ongoing works

How we managed this project
Our team conducted detailed planning sessions with the hotel’s management to schedule the move during off-peak hours.
